The mental health guidelines, announced by the Minister of State for Education and Manpower, Gan Siow Huang, on October 1st, 2024, at an awards ceremony held by Silver Ribbon at PSB Academy’s City Campus, are developed by the WSH Council and will be launched in the first quarter of 2025.

She added that not every employee may be aware of or comfortable with discussing “their personal struggles”, to which “trained supervisors and peer supporters” can be really beneficial for spotting early signs of “distress or deviation from normal behaviors” before the situation escalates.
